Locating the Error Log
When encountering an iMedConsent error on a workstation, prior to calling technical support, it is helpful to copy the contents of the Error Log for that workstation. To find the Error Log, follow these steps:
For PCs:
- Go to the folder where iMedConsent is installed on the machine (This is usually C:\Program Files\Dialog Medical\iMedConsent VA).
- Double-click the file named Error.log. This is a text document that will open in Notepad.
- Copy and paste the contents of this Error Log into an email message and send the message to enterprise@dialogmedical.com.
For Thin Clients: Contact the Citrix Server administrator to retrieve the contents of the Error Log.
